This is gorgeous! You did a great job with the shoreline; it looks really realistic. :) I tried making a beach in Terragen Classic and the water looks fake. :(

thank you! :D
here's a beach i made in Terragen 0.9 [link] but i'm afraid i made it too long ago to give useful tips.. But here are two links that might help you with your work on water: [link] [link]

the sites are german, but since the settings keep their names, it should still be useful :) Hope that helps! (I'd be glad to see it, when you upload any TG work :) )

Yeah, those did help! Thanks! Sorry for the late reply. Do you have to have the plugins in order for it to look like that?

hmm, it's been a while since i worked with the classic TG but i dont think you need plugins for the water.
Did you also try the free version of TG2 already?

Oh ok, that's good to know! The plugins don't work and it's probably my own fault, so I'm glad I'll be able to make realistic water without them.

I did try the free version of TG2 but it was back when they first made it, so you couldn't do hardly anything on it. I've heard it has alot more features now but when I tried it, the detail was real low and I couldn't see what I was doing.
